Laughing Monitos First Words Initiative
Weekly, on Mondays, from 8/26 – 11/25, from 1:30 – 2:30
Join us for a two part 7-week comprehensive speech and language development program tailored for children aged 12 months to 2 years. This unique opportunity is a collaboration between Laughing Monitos and the NCCU Speech and Language Department, providing hands-on interventions to enhance your child’s communication skills.
Program Highlights:
- Comprehensive Screenings: Initial assessments to identify your child’s communication abilities and needs.
- Goal Development: Personalized goals based on assessment outcomes, regularly monitored and adjusted.
- Weekly Playgroups: One times per week, 60-minute sessions, led by NCCU graduate students under the supervision of a licensed speech pathologist.
- Parental Involvement: Parents are required to participate, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

Pricing:
- $15 per session
- $120 for a package of 7 sessions
