Make A Book With Darren Farrell

In the Makery every day from 10AM – 5PM.

Join Darren Farrell and Kidzu as we celebrate Mr Farrell’s new book, GIVE THIS BOOK AWAY, by making a book of our own and giving it away – for real – to an unsuspecting guest in the museum, mall or movie theater.

At 11AM on Friday, August 2nd, Mr Farrell will be right here in the museum to share GIVE THIS BOOK AWAY and lead everyone in a final round of artwork. Then, Mr Farrell will lead us all outside to find one lucky person who we can give our book away to. This event promises

Mr Farrell has challenged us to create an entire book filled with kind words and loving statements. Can we do it?

What would you say to a friend who is sad or upset? Maybe you can write those words down and draw a picture of how you would like them to feel.

Be creative! You can draw and write any words of kindness you’d like!

We have until August 2nd to make our art!
